Dubrovnik – Croatia
TOP THREE HIGHLIGHTS
1. The Sea – Water Sport Activities
The Sea is as clear as it can get – Crystal clear. The moment you look at it, you just want to jump straight in. Sandra and I had in mind to do some water activities as we both love trying things we haven’t done before – especially if they involve an adrenaline rush! For reasonable prices you can try out some cool things like Kayaking and Parasailing (what we chose to do!). I recommend trying out these two water activities, as they give you a great view of Dubrovnik from a another perspective. Doing them during sunset would probably be even better but we decided to do both in the morning as it was less crowded. There were just 3 other couples when we went Kayaking which was a really nice group size. The best part of the Kayak tour was when we stopped off in a cave for lunch. We were given an hour to eat, relax and have a swim in the hidden beach in the cave. We also had the opportunity to try scuba diving and a cliff dive (but we weren’t mentally prepared for the cliff dive part- NEXT TIME!)

2. Hiking- The views
This was our first ever major hike together, and it couldn’t have been any better. There is a cable car to take you up…but I recommend taking that on the way back down and braving the hiking experience to the top as it is SO MUCH BETTER! The view is great when you reach the top via cable car but we found that he cable wires and cable cars disturb the full view. If you do the hike… you’ll be amazed with the uninterrupted view you get as you climb towards the top. There are spots along the way to stop for a rest and the views are awesome. It took us around 2-3 hours overall, but we stopped several times on the way. If you are interested in seeing the sunset, have a break just before the very top and relax with a bottle of wine and great view! Or you could have a drink at Restaurant Panorama at the end of the hike but I would personally suggest not eating there as it’s very overpriced. You can have a great meal in Panorama’s sister restaurant: ‘Dubravka 1836‘ in the old town.
Recommended – Instead of following the Serpentine Path all the way up, we went on a much more challenging route by going off the trail and climbing up the hillside – Bear Grylls style – Much more fun!
3. Walking through the Old Town

Bundle
Bundle and his family carried out this shoot when he was 2 months at my fiance’s place. He was a good boy during the whole session, I don’t quite remember him crying at all.

OMER AND ANIQA
Here is Omer and Aniqa! You don’t get many so called ‘Friends’ these days ,but Omer is one of a kind. He is one of my best and oldest friends and said yes straight away when he asked me to cover his wedding. He is someone who has a smile on his face 24/7 and remains calm no matter what happens. And he found someone who will keep the smile on his face as you’ll see from the photos below =D This shoot was taken about 2 years back and FYI I will be covering their newborn daughters shoot next month! Sorry for the late post!

GRACE AND SAM
I was beyond pleased when I was asked to cover this wedding as a present from one of the bride’s friend. The lighting was perfect inside the hall which made it easier to do my job. It is obvious to see from these few snaps that the couple are fully in love. They have a small daughter who kept on dancing down the isle in the middle of the ceremony as you may see below. I bet she was enjoying her parents exchanging their vows and sharing this special moment in life.

MY LOVELY PARENTS – 35th ANNIVERSARY
35 years together! How blessed it is to live that long with your soulmate. The smile in their eyes says it all. My mum is a Superwoman. She battled with cancer 2 years ago and fought her way out through it. Recently, the cancer came back again… but I know for a fact she will fight it out again. God gave her the strength and faith she needs and has always stuck by her side. She has been a true role model in my life, she made me see God through her eyes. By her side is my Dad… always being positive and not letting any downside effect him and our family. His faith in God has empowered our family to stay strong at all times and not take any moment in our life for granted. I can’t thank God enough for giving me these parents. I feel God’s presence through my parents and I thank them for teaching me the way of life through God and Love.
